Steve Clarke: "We need more points on the board"

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke says that he is confident his team can pull off an upset against Manchester United this afternoon.

West Bromich Albion boss Steve Clarke has said that his team are not scared of Manchester United as they prepare for this afternoon's trip to Old Trafford.

The Scot realises that his team will be the underdogs against the Premier League champions, but believes that the Baggies are capable of getting a result against David Moyes's men.

"As a professional, I think I'm going to win every single game I go into," Clarke told reporters. "If I don't think that, how can I convince the players?

"Maybe 99% of the country doesn't expect us to go there and do well but we expect to go there and get a good result. We don't go there with any fear.

"We go there with positivity and we go there to try to get a result, looking to put on a good performance, we go there trying to win. We need more points on the board."

The Midlands club suffered penalty heartbreak against Arsenal in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday.
