Manchester United defender Patrice Evra believes that he and his teammates must be focused as they head into a run of "important" games.

Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has called on his teammates to show their "best" during an "important" part of the season.

The former Premier League champions take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and then meet them again on Wednesday in the League Cup.

"Now I think this is a really important time of big moments," the Daily Star quotes Evra as saying.

"There are important games coming up and we need to show our best. It's going to be a busy few weeks, with a lot of important games, and now is the time when we need to show what we can do and win every game."

Meanwhile, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that midfielder Shinji Kagawa will be out of action for three to four weeks with a knee injury.
