Report: Manchester United interested in Southampton's Adam Lallana

Manchester United are keen on signing Adam Lallana from Southampton in January, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing midfielder Adam Lallana from Southampton in January.

According to the Daily Star, United manager David Moyes will make a move for the England international when the transfer window opens next month, but could find it tough to convince the Saints to sell the 25-year-old.

Lallana's impressive form for both Southampton and England this season has seen his price rise to £15m and the Saints are keen to fend off any interest in the attacker.

Lallana has been on the books of Southampton since 2000 and has a contract with the Premier League club that runs until 2018.
