Michael Laudrup: 'A draw was a fair result'

Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup does not believe that his side deserved to defeat Kuban Krasnodar in the Europa League.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has declared that a draw was a fair result following his side's 1-1 stalemate with Kuban Krasnodar in the Europa League.

The Russian outfit needed an injury-time penalty to salvage a point, but the Swans boss believes that his side were rightly punished for their poor defending.

"Overall, it was a fair result," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "When you are 1-0 in injury time, they get a counter, we should have kept the ball.

"They hit the counter, with two or three half chances. We had a lot of possession but did not create too much.

"When you are 1-0 up into injury time, you can call it frustrating. We have to move, we have to play until the last second. Now we will have to do our work away from home."

Swansea remain top of Group A following the draw, with seven points from their three games played.
