Michel Vorm: 'Swansea City must not focus on Cardiff City clash'

Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm believes that the team must not get distracted by next week's South Wales derby ahead of tomorrow's match against West Ham United.

Michel Vorm has said that Swansea City must keep their focus ahead of next weekend's South Wales derby.

The League Cup holders have a home match against West Ham United, before travelling to the Bluebirds next weekend.

The goalkeeper told Sky Sports News: "Of course beating West Ham would be a boost ahead of the derby, but we have to be focused on Sunday's game.

"If we get the three points we will have 13 points and we can relax in a different way before the derby.

"If I'm honest the fans are talking to me about the derby already but I'm just thinking about Sunday. West Ham are not a top, top team but they are a strong side."

The two Welsh sides have never met in the top flight before.
