Ben Foster urges West Bromwich Albion to take advantage in "scrap"

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster urges his side to grab as many points as they can in the Premier League "scrap" for survival.

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster has insisted that he and his teammates need to come out on top in the "scrap" for Premier League survival.

The Baggies are currently one place above the relegation zone on goal difference alone following Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Manchester United.

Despite West Brom's predicament, Foster believes that the race for survival will go down to the wire, with Fulham, Sunderland, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace among those in the relegation battle.

"At the start of the season when you look to pick up points, you consider games against Arsenal, Chelsea and United as bonus points, there's 14 other teams like that as well," Foster told the club's official website.

"For the rest, it's a scrap and those are the ones you look to get points from, not only to push yourself up but to keep them down too.

"It's not nice, but there's probably about 10 teams still in it. We need to be one of the teams that take advantage against that opposition."

The Baggies have 10 games left to play this season.
