Danny Rowe makes permanent Wycombe Wanderers move

Wycombe Wanderers complete the permanent signing of teenage defender Danny Rowe from Rotherham United.

Teenage defender Danny Rowe has joined Wycombe Wanderers permanently after the Chairboys agreed a compensation fee with Rotherham United.

Rowe, 19, has had three separate loan spells in the last two seasons and now joins Wycombe on a three-year contract.

Chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth told the club website: "It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Danny's and he's impressed me throughout his various loan spells with us, so I'm thrilled to be able to make his move permanent.

"He gives us options in a variety of positions and he's got a lot of ability which I'm looking forward to developing."

Rowe made just one substitute appearance for the Rotherham first team.
