Report: Arsene Wenger preparing to quit Arsenal if targets are not met

Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to quit Arsenal should the club fail to qualify for the Champions League or lose to Hull City in the FA Cup final.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly preparing to call time on his 18-year reign over the Gunners should the club fail to achieve their targets this season.

The North London outfit were leading the way in the Premier League title race in the early stages of the season, but are now fighting for Champions League qualification.

However, Arsenal could end their eight-year trophy drought by winning the FA Cup should they beat Hull City in the final at Wembley next month.

According to Goal.com, Arsenal chiefs have begun looking at short-term options should Wenger decide to leave if the club fail to finish in the top four and lose out to Hull in the cup final.

The Gunners, who are thought to have initially agreed a two-year contract extension with Wenger, currently sit fourth in the table, one point above Everton with three games left to play.
