Arsene Wenger responds to Jose Mourinho's Arsenal taunt

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger responds to Jose Mourinho's 'boring' comments by claiming that some managers need to be more respectful.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has responded to Jose Mourinho's latest taunt by claiming that some managers need to "improve" on being respectful towards their counterparts.

The Chelsea boss was asked to give his view on the "boring, boring Chelsea" chants being sung from Arsenal supporters during last week's goalless draw at the Emirates.

In response, the Portuguese coach alluded to Arsenal's failure to win a title since 2004 by saying: "You know, I think boring is 10 years without a title. That's very boring."

When probed about Mourinho's comments in this morning's press conference, Wenger said: "The biggest thing of managers is to respect each other and some people have to improve on that.

"You can have incidents with other managers. It is a bit heated when you fight directly with them but in the end time heals and what is the most important is to respect each other as much as you can. Everybody lives with his own internal problems and I live with mine and that is enough."

Arsenal are 13 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea with five games left to play.
