David Dunn is to undergo a scan to determine the extent of his calf injury.

Blackburn Rovers have confirmed that midfielder David Dunn will undergo a scan on the calf injury that he sustained in Wednesday night's 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Dunn crossed for Grant Hanley to score the only goal in the game before picking up an injury, and caretaker manager Eric Black has said that the club hopes to know more on Thursday.

"He just tightened his calf a little bit but hopefully we'll know more on Thursday," PA Sport quotes Eric Black as saying.

Dunn is now a strong doubt for the weekend's game with Watford.
