Branislav Ivanovic hit by object during Queens Park Rangers, Chelsea game

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is hit on the back of his head by an object thrown from the crowd in their Premier League clash away at Queens Park Rangers.

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has been hit on the back of the head by an object apparently thrown by Queens Park Rangers supporters in Sunday's Premier League clash at Loftus Road, which finished 1-0 to Jose Mourinho's side.

A number of objects rained down onto the pitch following Cesc Fabregas's late winner in the West London derby, including bottles and coins.

Ivanovic appeared to hold the back of his neck following the incident, suggesting that may have been hit by a coin, with other reports claiming that Nemanja Matic was also hit by an object.

Chelsea sit seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table with seven games of their season to go.
