Preview: Reading vs. Nottingham Forest

Sports Mole previews the Championship fixture between Reading and Nottingham Forest.

Reading manager Nigel Adkins is under pressure to turn things around at the Madejski Stadium after three defeats in a row.

The Royals have slumped to ninth in the Championship table, and a fifth loss in seven could see Adkins's team fall as low as 12th.

Adkins will make changes to the lineup that started against Middlesbrough on Sunday, with defender Kaspars Gorkss missing through suspension and Adam Le Fondre possibly coming into the side in attack.

Forest have been in excellent form throughout December, and they have still only lost four games in 23 league matches throughout the campaign.

Billy Davies could hand a start to striker Matt Derbyshire, after the former Blackburn Rovers man scored the winning goal against Leeds United on Sunday.
