Team News: Roberto Di Matteo makes six changes for Paderborn test

Schalke 04 boss Roberto Di Matteo makes six changes as his side look to clinch Europa League qualification against SC Paderborn.

Schalke 04 head coach Roberto Di Matteo has made six changes to his side for their penultimate Bundesliga fixture against SC Paderborn.

Despite winning just one of their last eight games, Schalke can secure Europa League qualification if results go their way on Saturday, and Di Matteo has responded to his team's poor form by welcoming back Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Jefferson Farfan and Max Meyer in attacking areas.

Julian Draxler drops to the bench, while Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sidney Sam both miss out after being suspended indefinitely following last weekend's loss to FC Koln.

Paderborn can move out of the bottom three with a positive result, and Andre Breitenreiter has elected to recall Srdjan Lakic, who will lead the line for the visitors.

There is also a start for Suleyman Koc, but Elias Kachunga is forced to settle for a spot on the bench.

Schalke: Fahrmann, Howedes, Matip, Nastasic, Kolasinac, Kirchhoff, Aogo, Farfan, Choupo-Moting, Meyer, Huntelaar

Paderborn: Kruse, Brückner, Strohdiek, Hünemeier, Heinloth, Bakalorz, Stoppelkamp, Rupp, Vrancic, Koc, Lakic
