A report claims that Joao Mario is due to arrive in London on Thursday ahead of completing a loan move from Inter Milan to West Ham United.

Inter Milan winger Joao Mario will reportedly undergo a medical with West Ham United on Friday after terms of a loan move were agreed between the two clubs.

The 31-cap Portugal international, who was initially against the idea of a switch to the Hammers, is due to arrive in London at some stage on Thursday.

West Ham will pay Inter a sum of £1.2m for the 25-year-old, according to the Daily Mail, with the option to make that permanent in the summer for a further £26m.

Mario is said to have made a U-turn on his decision after holding talks with his agent and United boss David Moyes at the start of the week.

Inter splashed out £36m to sign the ex-Sporting Lisbon ace in 2016, but he has made just five Serie A starts this season.
