Wolverhampton Wanderers trio Kevin Doyle, Dave Edwards, Wayne Hennessey are all struggling for fitness ahead of the weekend's trip to Fulham.

Kevin Doyle, Dave Edwards and Wayne Hennessey are struggling to be fit in time for Wolverhampton Wanderers' trip to Fulham this weekend.

Goalkeeper Hennessey is struggling with an ankle injury, while Edwards has a knee problem.

Irish striker Doyle recently had to pull out of the Republic of Ireland squad with a tight hamstring.

"Having spoken to the medical teams from the two countries, they kindly agreed to allow the players to come back for assessment once it was clear they would not be involved tonight," said Wolves physio Steve Kemp.

"We will now be able to treat them here at Compton and hopefully ensure they are available for Sunday's game with Fulham.

Wolves are currently 16th in the Premier League table.
