Lukas Podolski is happy to see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain return from a knee injury for Arsenal after five months on the sidelines.

Lukas Podolski has revealed his delight at the return of teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as Arsenal moved back to the top of the Premier League on Monday night.

Oxlade-Chamberlain played his first game in five months for the Gunners having recovered from a knee injury he suffered on the opening day of the season, as Arsenal won 2-1 at Aston Villa to move back to the division's summit.

"Back on the top again," Podolski Tweeted. "Good feeling to see Ox on the pitch again. I'm happy for you, bro!"

Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud scored the goals for Arsenal.
