The agent of Radamel Falcao has reportedly held talks with Chelsea ahead of the striker's potential move to the Premier League champions.

The Colombia international has been linked with the Stamford Bridge side after coming to the end of a season-long loan spell with Manchester United, where he failed to secure a regular place in the starting lineup.

According to The Sun, Jorge Mendes has been speaking to Chelsea officials in a bid to secure the AS Monaco forward a move to the club, after United turned down the chance to sign him permanently.

Falcao scored four goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for United.
