Hoffenheim head coach Markus Gisdol has welcomed back striker Anthony Modeste to his starting XI, as the forward replaces Kevin Volland up front, who returns to the midfield trio behind him.

Volland is partnered with Roberto Firmino centrally and Kai Herdling on the opposite flank as Hoffenheim look for the win that could see them return to late Europa League contention.

For the visiting Eintracht Frankfurt Joselu is handed the start in the lone striker role, with Stefan Aigner and Alexander Meier offering the support from attacking midfield.
