Leroy Fer: Queens Park Rangers aiming "to get a result" at Manchester United

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Leroy Fer reveals that the Londoners will be aiming to collect a positive result away at big-spending Manchester United on Sunday.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Leroy Fer has insisted that his side are determined to "get a result" from their trip to Manchester United this afternoon.

The Red Devils are the heavy favourites to win the clash at Old Trafford, particularly with the likes of Radamel Falcao, Angel di Maria and Daley Blind all tipped to make their home debuts for the club.

However, following their 1-0 win over Sunderland last time out, Fer has stressed that the Hoops are keen to "build" on that result.

"They are one of the biggest teams in the world and they will want to win at home. They have brought in some big players so I think they will press us from the start," the Dutch international told Sky Sports News.

"We had a good game at home - our first three points and we want to build on that. We are coming here to get a result."

QPR last won at Old Trafford back in January 1992.
