Aston Villa have announced the signing of Mile Jedinak from Crystal Palace on a three-year deal.
Tony Xia - owner of the Midlands club - recently hinted on Twitter that Jedinak had agreed to move to Villa Park.
The Australian made 178 appearances during a five-year spell with the Eagles, but his future was thrown into doubt earlier this summer when manager Alan Pardew stripped him of the captaincy and handed the armband to Scott Dann.
Today, Villa, who were demoted to the Championship at the end of last season, confirmed Jedinak's arrival, but the midfielder will not be available for selection until he receives international clearance.
The club have lost, won and drawn one of each of their first three games of the season.
