Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has admitted that he will always have the club in his heart, despite his departure to pastures new at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has still not revealed which team he will play for next season, but said that for now he remains focused on the final Bundesliga game of the season against Wolfsburg.
"It was nice working my way through the youth teams," he told Bundesliga.com. "I got a good education at Borussia and will always be Gladbach through and through. Nevertheless, I'm now looking forward to the future. First, though, let's get the three points against Wolfsburg.
"It's definitely going to be a nice week [after securing European football] and I hope that, next Saturday, we'll get the same result as today. A win would be fantastic for us. We can still climb up the table and that would be a fine way to round the season off."
Ter Stegen has played three times for Germany.
