John Guidetti delighted at Celta Vigo move

John Guidetti says that he is looking forward to his career at Celta Vigo, after joining the La Liga club on a free transfer.

New Celta Vigo signing John Guidetti has expressed his delight after completing a move to the La Liga club.

The 23-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Spanish outfit at the weekend, after being released by Manchester City earlier this summer.

"Of course I know [new teammate Iago] Aspas. His return is important for the club. It's a privilege to play with him," Football Espana quotes him as saying.

"[Eduardo Berizzo is] a great Coach. I've also played in derbies and I think they're special games. I'm looking forward to the Galician derbies and winning them.

"My mission is to score goals, but you [the fans] will soon discover what else I can bring to the team on the pitch. The way to make people believe in you is to believe in yourself first. I always give 110%."

Guidetti scored 15 goals in 35 appearances during a loan spell at Celtic last season.
