Striker Milan Lalkovic has admitted that he needs to continue to perform to a high level if he wants to progress in his career.
Lalkovic, who is currently on loan at Walsall, proved instrumental in the League One side's 2-0 victory over Peterborough on Monday night, and the Slovakian winger has revealed that he is aiming to play at the same standard for the remainder of his loan spell, which expires in January.
The 20-year-old told the Express & Star: "If I keep playing like this, it will help my career. If I do well, there will be options. This is what I can do. I have to perform like this every week.
"It's up to me to keep doing this then I will move on. If I keep playing like that, then obviously I won't be here."
Lalkovic has scored twice in 16 appearances for Walsall.
