Chelsea forward Pedro says that he remains 'very ambitious' despite winning multiple trophies with Barcelona and the Blues.

Chelsea forward Pedro has revealed that he remains motivated to win many more trophies during the remainder of his playing career.

Pedro has enjoyed a glittering career for club and country, with six league titles and three Champions League trophies coming on the domestic front and the World Cup and European Championship being won with Spain.

However, at just 31 years of age, Pedro has said that he still holds ambitions to add more medals to his collection over the coming years.

Pedro told Chelsea's official website: "Every player always wants to win titles. You fight for results, and to play in finals, to win titles because it's good for your career. That's the principal challenge, to get confidence and to start in the right way, focused on having a very good season.

"You always want more. It's very important to have big ambitions. You can always do better and improve. It's very good for you and your life and, in the future, when you retire you can look at those trophies and feel very happy."

Pedro has recently extended his contract at Stamford Bridge to 2020.
