Midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey has revealed that the England Under-21s squad are confident of winning the European Championship.
The Three Lions have been drawn in a group alongside Italy, Portugal and Sweden, but the Brighton & Hove Albion player has backed the squad to play their part in the latter stages of the tournament in the Czech Republic.
The 21-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "I believe we can win it. I think everybody believes that we can win it. We're all full of confidence and we're training well. I think anything can happen.
"We've got some great individuals here, the likes of Harry [Kane] and other players that have been to the first team and come back down.
"We've got some great players and great team spirit, so hopefully that takes us far in the tournament."
Gareth Southgate's side open their campaign against Portugal on Thursday.
