Getafe will reportedly be without Alvaro Vasquez until the end of the season, with the forward due to undergo shoulder surgery on Friday.
The 23-year-old has been troubled by the injury in recent weeks and it is understood that his club have now stepped in to address the issue.
According to Inside Spanish Football, the striker will go under the knife next Friday and will not return to action until pre-season training.
