Manchester City are plotting a summer move for Lille left-back Lucas Digne.

City executive Patrick Vieira and former technical director Mike Rigg have both scouted the 18-year-old on multiple occasions over the past six months.

Digne, who has represented France at under-19 level, can also operate as a left-sided midfielder.

Roberto Mancini is keen to freshen up his squad and will attempt to offload second-choice left-back Aleksandar Kolarov in order to make way for Digne, according to Goal.com

Barcelona had been linked with a bid for Kolarov.
