Manchester United have been linked with a bid for Sporting Lisbon teenager Carlos Mane.
The 19-year-old, who has a £1m buy-out clause in his contract, has earned high praise for his performances for the Portuguese club's B-team.
United have sent scouts to watch the player and are pondering a bid when the transfer windows reopens in January, according to The Mirror.
Mane made his first-team debut for Sporting last month, and has represented Portugal at every level between Under-15 and Under-19.
The winger has been on the club's books since the age of seven.
