Schalke 04 midfielder Lewis Holtby has reportedly expressed his desire to bring forward his transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.
The German international has signed a pre-contract agreement with Spurs, which will see him arrive at White Hart Lane at the end of the current season.
However, Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas recently admitted that he would like the 22-year-old to join this month and Holtby is of the same opinion, according to the London Evening Standard.
While the two clubs are yet to agree a transfer fee, the report has also claimed that Holtby has already undergone a medical in case the deal needs to be completed quickly towards the end of the transfer window.
