Southampton manager Ronald Koeman's proposed move to Everton has been delayed until next week, according to reports.
The bulk of the discussions to take the Dutchman to Goodison Park are thought to have been agreed, but negotiations still need to be finalised before the deal can be confirmed.
The Liverpool Echo reports that those talks have now been put on hold until Monday, when Koeman will return from a second pre-planned holiday.
Everton had hoped to announce the appointment of Koeman on Tuesday having agreed a compensation fee of £5m with Southampton, but minor complications have dragged negotiations out.
The problems are not thought to be serious, though, and Koeman is expected to be officially unveiled as Roberto Martinez's successor early next week.
