Former Great Britain Davis Cup captain David Lloyd has described Andy Murray's claims that the current tennis schedule is overcrowded as "scandalous".
Murray recently branded the calender "ridiculous" and hinted that the top players would be willing to strike in order to force changes.
However, Lloyd strongly disagrees with Murray's "incredible" viewpoint.
"I find it an incredible statement," Lloyd told BBC Scotland "They play all the best places in the world, they get picked up by Rolls Royces at the airport, they stay at 10-star hotels and get paid a fortune.
"I think it is a scandalous thing to say."
Former Wimbledon champion Michael Stich has also rubbished Murray's opinion.
