Fernando Verdasco has insisted that he is feeling relaxed ahead of his Wimbledon quarter-final clash against Andy Murray.
The Spanish world number 54 goes up against the home favourite on Wednesday with a place in the last four at stake.
"This year in general I have done well," Verdasco, 29, told Sky Sports News.
"I've not done that well in the big tournaments, but I'm here now in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon. I have a mentality that's different to what I had before.
"I feel more relaxed than ever and that helps. It's a tranquility that I'm responding to well."
Verdasco, who is playing in the quarter-finals for the first time at SW19, defeated Kenny de Schepper in the last round.
