Gerard Pique has reportedly been caught on camera telling Vicente del Bosque that Cesc Fabregas will leave Barcelona this summer.
The former Arsenal midfielder has been linked with a return to his former club, while Chelsea are also said to be interested in the Spanish international.
According to a transcript published by Inside Spanish Football, the defender told the national side's coach ahead of a press conference: "I'm going to defend Cesc a little. He told me that it's a done deal. He told me that now it's done. He's leaving. For €33m, he told me.
"I love Cesc so much, I know he's having a difficult time because the club doesn't value him as much as he deserves.
"Cesc has never been sufficiently evaluated at Barcelona. He would work well at any club in the world and would be basic and fundamental piece, but the club is very complicated and it's demanding."
The conversation did not reveal which team Fabregas has allegedly agreed to join.
