Ajax's director of football Marc Overmars has insisted that their highly-coveted youngsters Joel Veltman and Davy Klaassen will be staying at the club.
Defender Veltman, 22, and forward Klaassen, 20, have established themselves as key figures in Frank de Boer's starting XI at the Amsterdam ArenA and are believed to be attracting attention from Arsenal and Manchester United.
"We are constantly working on a puzzle and every time you have it almost complete, it can fall apart, because a piece is snapped up," he told reporters.
"But I'm going to the gate and lie in front of it when they come for Joel Veltman or Davy Klaassen. I love Ajax being attractive for a transfer, but these guys do not get out of here."
Klaassen is Ajax's joint-top league goalscorer this season, having found the net eight times, while Veltman, who made his international debut for the Netherlands last year, has started 17 matches this term.
