Huddersfield Town have held Reading to a 1-1 draw at the Madejski Stadium in the Championship.
The visitors took the lead with just four minutes on the clock courtesy of Nakhi Wells, with the striker escaping past his man before sliding the ball beyond Alex McCarthy.
Three minutes later Jobi McAnuff was pulled back in the box as he prepared to get his shot away, with the referee awarding the home side a penalty kick, which Pavel Pogrebnyak duly converted.
McCarthy was forced into action moments later to deny Adam Clayton at full stretch, before Wells came even closer to regaining his side's lead when he struck the crossbar with his effort.
Both sides searched for a goal in the early stages of the second half, and Danny Ward very nearly found one when he made the most of a poor defensive header from Jordan Obita. However, his drive was kept out by McCarthy once more.
The Terriers looked as though they had found a winner in the closing minutes when a header was going towards goal, but Obita managed to clear the danger off the line.
