There are five changes to Reading's starting lineup to face Southampton at the Madejski Stadium in the Premier League this lunchtime.

Nigel Adkins has made five changes to Reading's starting lineup to face his former club in the Premier League this lunchtime.

Adam Federici returns in goal for the Royals having recovered from injury, while Adam Le Fondre, Chris Gunter, Sean Morrison and Hope Akpan also start, having missed out against Arsenal last week.

Meanwhile, Artur Boruc has been passed fit for Southampton, having suffered dizziness during the game against Chelsea last Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino has named just one change following last week's 2-1 win, selecting Gaston Ramirez in place of Jason Puncheon, who is named among the substitutes.

Reading: Federici, Gunter, Kelly, Mariappa, Morrison, Karacan, Akpan, Guthrie, McAnuff, Robson-Kanu, Le Fondre

Southampton: Boruc, Clyne, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Cork, Davis, Ramirez, Lambert, Rodriguez
