Watford loanee Gerard Deulofeu has said that he wants playing time under Javi Gracia at Watford.
The Barcelona winger, who has previous Premier League experience with Everton, left for Vicarage Road on deadline day until the end of the season.
Deulofeu has said that, despite leaving the La Liga leaders, the Spaniard is determined to make his mark under Gracia in his spell with the Hornets.
"I know I am coming from playing with [Lionel] Messi, [Luis] Suarez and [Andres] Iniesta – but I am happy to be here, to help make the team better," the 23-year-old told The Mirror. "I don't think that because I come from Barcelona, that I am the best player here. That is not my character.
"I've come here to play more minutes. I know I prefer being in top teams, but my style is always to be involved on the pitch and to make the fans happy.
"When I went back to Barcelona, I knew the situation. I came knowing Neymar was in the team and after Neymar comes Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho – if you want to be in the top teams, you know there is big competition for your place."
Deulofeu could be involved in Watford's clash with Premier League champions Chelsea on Monday night.
