Tommy Haas has booked his place in the last four of the Miami Masters with a straight-sets victory over Gilles Simon.
The German will now play David Ferrer for a place in the final.
Haas picked up where he had left off against Novak Djokovic and was spraying winners from all over the court in the first set.
Simon proved stubborn to break down at first, but eventually he succumbed 6-3 as the 15th seed found the quality to edge ahead.
However, it was a completely different story in the second set as Haas cantered to a 6-1 victory.
