Andy Murray has claimed that he is "better equipped" to win this year's Wimbledon title.
The British world number two was beaten by Roger Federer in last year's final, but he enjoyed a successful end to the year by claiming a gold medal at the London Olympics as well as lifting his first Grand Slam trophy at the US Open.
The 26-year-old believes that his experiences over the past 12 months will serve him well during the coming fortnight.
"I just think, because of what's happened since [losing to Federer] that if I can manage to get myself in the latter stages of the tournament I'd be better equipped to deal with the pressures that go with that," Murray told Wimbledon's official website.
Murray will face German world number 95 Benjamin Becker in the opening round of the Championships on Monday.
