Joel Campbell confirms Arsenal return

Costa Rica striker Joel Campbell confirms that he will return to Arsenal following the World Cup.

Costa Rica striker Joel Campbell has confirmed that he will return to Arsenal after the World Cup.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Gunners in 2011, has yet to play for the club following loan spells with Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiacos respectively.

"Of course I have to go back, because I have a contract with Arsenal," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "The most important thing just now is my country and the World Cup."

Campbell was on target for Costa Rica on Saturday as they got their World Cup campaign off to a winning start with a 3-1 victory over Uruguay in Group D.
