Roy Hodgson: 'Teams won't want to draw England at World Cup'

England manager Roy Hodgson concedes that the Three Lions won't be a favourite at next year's World Cup but does feel that teams won't want to play them.

Roy Hodgson has said that teams at next year's World Cup will not want to draw England.

The Three Lions ensured a place in Brazil by overcoming Poland 2-0 at Wembley last night and although national manager Hodgson conceded that England aren't one of the favourites, he feels that they are a tough draw for anyone.

He said: "We won't be favourites, that's for sure.

"But I don't think we will go into any games believing we don't have a chance to win and I don't think there will be too many teams out there thinking 'whoopee we have got England, what an easy one!'"

England will not be a top seed and could draw the likes of Brazil, Spain, Germany and Argentina in the group stage, which will be revealed in Bahia on December 6.
