Brendan Rodgers expects "tough" West Ham United test

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers claims that West Ham will be the toughest team that his players have faced so far this season.

Brendan Rodgers has claimed that West Ham United will be Liverpool's toughest opponents of the season so far.

The two sides meet at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.

Liverpool are unbeaten in the league this term, while West Ham have lost their last two matches. However, Rodgers is expecting the Hammers to provide his players with stern opposition.

"This will be a tough game, this will be our toughest game so far," Rodgers told reporters. "The Bournemouth game showed how well organised we are in terms of our game, so that was difficult for them.

"The new manager, who is an excellent manager, is still finding our about his players. I'm sure Slaven [Bilic] will do an excellent job there and will come here looking to get a result."

Liverpool drew 0-0 with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in their last Premier League match.
