Armand Garrido: 'Anthony Martial will be better next season'

Lyon youth coach Armand Garrido claims that Anthony Martial will be even better for Manchester United next season.

Lyon youth coach Armand Garrido has claimed that Anthony Martial will be even better next season once he has settled in at Manchester United.

The 19-year-old striker has scored four goals in seven appearances for the Red Devils since signing from AS Monaco for £36m at the beginning of September.

Garrido, who coached the France international as he came through through the ranks at Lyon, is confident that Martial will go on to become an important player at Old Trafford.

"Anthony will succeed if he is allowed time to do so," the Daily Star quotes him as saying.

"A lot of things will happen to him. He will have to deal with them, understand the club, learn English, earn his place in the side. This does not happen overnight. I would expect him to do something big next season."

Martial has won two caps for France.
