Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa says that it is difficult to understand anything that boss Sir Alex Ferguson says.

Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa has revealed that he has been finding it difficult to understand manager Sir Alex Ferguson when he speaks.

The former Borussia Dortmund playmaker, who made the switch to Old Trafford earlier this summer, netted his first Premier League goal for the Red Devils in a 3-2 win over Fulham on Saturday.

While the Japan international seems to be settling in on the pitch, the 23-year-old has insisted that the language barrier remains an issue.

"I can't tell a word he says! I am trying to learn English, but understanding the manager might take a little longer," the Daily Mail quotes Kagawa as saying.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Kagawa's teammate Wayne Rooney could be sidelined for up to two months after the striker required stitches following a gash on his thigh.
