Report: Darren Fletcher to remain at Manchester United

Darren Fletcher trains with Manchester United on Monday, fuelling suggestions that he will remain at Old Trafford this month.

Scottish midfielder Darren Fletcher now looks likely to remain at Manchester United this month, despite strong interest from West Bromwich Albion.

The 30-year-old, who has also been linked with a move to West Ham United, will be out of contract at the end of the season.

It had been reported that the midfielder would depart Old Trafford on deadline day, but Fletcher was part of the United squad that trained at Carrington on Monday afternoon.

It is thought that Fletcher will be involved in Tuesday's FA Cup fourth-round replay against Cambridge United, but his Premier League involvement is expected to remain limited for the rest of the season.
