Roma plan to become world's biggest club

Roma want to become the biggest club in world, says CEO Italo Zanzi.

Roma CEO Italo Zanzi has revealed that the club want to become the biggest side in world football.

The Giallorossi board member claimed that they have a "unique opportunity" to take the Serie A leaders to the summit of the world game.

"We want to become the best club in the world – both on the pitch and off it," Zanzi told BBC Sport.

"We believe that we have all the ingredients to do that and put Roma on top of the football world.

"We have a unique opportunity here. We are very glad we have a coach as good as Rudi Garcia leading us."

Garcia's side have won all eight of their matches so far this season.
