Toby Alderweireld has admitted that he could be forced to depart Atletico Madrid if he fails to win a regular first-team spot with the Spanish outfit.
The Belgian international joined Atletico from Ajax in the summer, but has thus far been forced to play second fiddle to first-choice centre-back pairing Miranda and Diego Godin.
"I miss Ajax, their style of play, my ex-teammates... At Atleti, I can't be happy if I'm not playing," he told Sport-1.
"The team is doing well and I continue to fight for my place, but I don't think it's my fault."
The Belgian international has made just 10 appearances during his five months with the club.
