Middlesbrough win at Brighton & Hove Albion

Middlesbrough emerge from the Amex Stadium triumphant by beating Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 in the Championship.

Two second-half goals from Albert Adomah and Danny Graham have given Middlesbrough a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium in the Championship.

Chances were hard to come by in the opening 45 minutes, but Luke Williams and Lee Tomlin both stretched Tomasz Kuszczak with measured efforts from distance.

Jesse Lingard went close for the hosts shortly after the break and Jake Forster-Caskey brought a good save from Dimi Konstantopoulos, as Brighton began to find their feet in the contest.

However, Boro went 1-0 ahead in the 65th minute when Adomah connected well with Graham's cross from the left wing.

Brighton had the chance to get back on level terms when the referee pointed to the spot after George Friend brought down Solly March, but Leonardo Ulloa blazed his penalty high and wide.

The miss proved costly as Graham secured all three points for the visitors with four minutes remaining when he calmly finished from Grant Leadbitter's cross.
