Carlos Zambrano enjoying Eintracht Frankfurt's European adventure

Carlos Zambrano admits that Eintracht Frankfurt are having a good Europa League campaign.

Eintracht Frankfurt defender Carlos Zambrano has said that he and his teammates are enjoying taking part in this year's Europa League, despite the Bundesliga campaign not going as well.

Zambrano said that the 2-2 draw away to Porto on Thursday night was a big result for the German side that has given them a good chance of progressing into the final 16.

"We knew that Porto are big opponents," he told UEFA.com. "It was difficult [last week] playing Borussia Dortmund twice. They're a great team, strong in the league and in Europe, and we were a bit unlucky in the home match in the cup, but that's in the past now.

"Thankfully [Europe has] gone well; we finished first in the group and got a good points total, which showed we were doing things right and working well. We'll work again for the return because it will be difficult. A 0-0 draw would work for us, but a win would be better for our nerves."

Frankfurt topped their qualification group, while Porto were eliminated from the Champions League.
