Fulham have received a boost in their pursuit of Igor after the defender's agent revealed that he wants to leave Fiorentina this summer.
After winning promotion to the Premier League in the 2021-22 campaign, Marco Silva guided his side to a commendable 10th-placed finish in the top flight.
There has been speculation surrounding the future of the Fulham boss, who is out of contract in the summer of 2024 and has a £6m release clause.
The upcoming transfer window could have a bearing on Silva's long-term future, as Fulham look to retain their key players amid speculation linking the likes of Joao Palhinha and Manor Solomon with moves away from Craven Cottage.
The West London club will also attempt to strengthen their squad during the transfer window, and they are keen to bolster their defensive ranks.

According to the Evening Standard, the West London club have identified Igor as a long-term replacement for Tosin Adarabioyo.
Adarabioyo, who made 25 Premier League appearances last term, has entered the final 12 months of his contract and has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Italian giants Inter Milan.
With uncertainty surrounding Adarabioyo's future, Fulham are seemingly looking to sign Igor, who has one year left on his current deal with an option for Fiorentina to extend by a further year.
Fulham's hopes of landing Igor this summer have received a boost after the player's agent, Marcelo Mascagni, revealed that his client intends to leave the Italian club.

Mascagni told ViolaNews: "I spoke to Fiorentina about Igor's future and the intention is to leave in the summer. The Viola club is also in agreement. We haven't received any official offers yet, but we're looking around."
Fiorentina will reportedly part ways with the Brazilian defender if they receive an offer in the region of €15m (£12.3m).
The 25-year-old, who usually plays as a left-sided centre-back, made 42 competitive appearances during the 2022-23 campaign.
Igor started nine of Fiorentina's 14 games in the Europa Conference League last term, but he had to settle for a late substitute appearance in the 2-1 final defeat to West Ham United.
